Angelina Rita (Sanchez) Flores

Funeral services for Angelina Rita Flores, 75, Enid resident, will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel  with Chaplain Gary Wilburn officiating.  Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Angelina was born on August 7, 1942 in Tempe, Arizona, the daughter of Raymond, Sr. and Mary Frederico Sanchez, and passed away peacefully on Apri l, 2018 in Enid.  She was raised and educated in Tempe, Arizona.  Angelina graduated from Mt. Sac College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.  She worked as a preschool director for many years.  In Baldwin Park, California, she was a Band Booster President, and Chaperone for Siera Vista Jr High School. Angelina married Daniel E. Flores in Arizona in 1957.  They moved to Enid in 2012 where she worked at Summer Hill as a preschool teacher.  Survivors include her husband Daniel of the residence;  three daughters, Denise Soto Flores of Yucca Valley, California, Judy Metcalfe of Goltry, Oklahoma, and Donna Gonzalez of Ontario, California;  7  grandchildren;  8  great-grandchildren.  Angelina was preceded in passing by her parents and two brothers.  Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
