Beverly Darlene Rood, 79, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was born December 19, 1936, In Preston, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Cunningham) Frank.  She married William Rood in 1952.  Beverly worked for several long-term nursing care facilities in Enid in different positions.  As a nurse’s aide, she treated her patients with compassion, gentleness and kindness.  She took great pride in working diligently with a wonderful sense of humor.  She will be missed greatly by family members and friends.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Connie (Todd) Herl of Enid; three brothers, Gary Frank and Ronald Frank of Enid and Gene Frank of Colorado; two grandsons; 1 great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; and nieces and nephews.  Beverly is also survived by a son, Jerry, and three daughters, Sherri, Carolyn and Tammy of Wichita, KS who were adopted out as toddlers.  She never forgot them or stopped praying for them and their families.

Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; two brothers, Robert Frank and Richard Frank of Kansas and one sister, Barbara Becenti of Enid; one granddaughter and three nephews.
