Claude O. Wrightsman

Claude O. (Bud) Wrightsman, born September 10, 1930 passed from this earth to meet his Heavenly Father on February 28, 2018. Bud was born in Joplin, Missouri to Goldie V. Thompson Wrightsman and Joseph O. (Tobe) Wrightsman who both preceded him in death. Bud was an avid Rodeo participant, winning titles in steer roping and team roping all over the United States throughout his career in Rodeo.

Bud leaves behind two daughters, Karole Wrightsman Robertson and husband, Gene of Enid, OK and Peggy Wrightsman Parolin and husband, Bill of Kansas City, MO. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren he loved very much: Jocelyn Harper and husband Joe, Kendyll McNeill and husband Larry, Joshua Parolin and wife Nikki, Zach Parolin, Jake Parolin, and Sara Parolin.  He is also survived by 4 great-grand children: Gage McNeill, Lexi McNeill, Wyatt Harper, and Gus Harper.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central, Cushing, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to an animal rescue group of the donor’s choice. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
