Jackie was my patient for several weeks before he left the hospital to go home, and in that time I sat and visited with him and read the bible with him and talked about life and all the craziness that goes on. He was a very special man and I truly enjoyed visiting with him and caring for him during his hospital stay. He would joke with me about adopting him and taking him home with me. I always told him that was not something I could do. I thanked him for his service to our country and we spent time talking about his trucking career. He will be truly missed.
