Graveside services for Joann Louise Hamby, 83, Port Aransas Texas will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sunnylane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma with Charles Bujan officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Joann was born on August 13, 1934 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Arthur McKinley and Louise Nitzel Johnson, and passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018 in Greenwood Missouri. She was raised and educated in Oklahoma City, attending Capital Hill High School. Joann worked for the Oklahoma City Public School System as a cafeteria manager, retiring in 1993. She lived in Oklahoma City until moving to Hinton, Oklahoma in 1994 where she was a member of Cedar Lake Chapel. In 2007, Joann moved to Port Aranas, Texas where she was a member of the Presbyterian Church. At the time of her passing, she was residing in Greenwood, Missouri. Survivors include sons, Neal (Diane) Fulton of Greenwood, Missouri, David (Hester) Fulton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Sherri (Charles) Bujan of Port Aranas, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Kinberger of San Diego, California, Gary Fulton of Oklahoma City, Erik Thompson of Port Lavaca, Texas, Lisa Jaramillo of Caledonia, Wisconsin, and Eli Fulton of Oklahoma City; great-grandchildren, Cruz, Eva, Mac, and Ava, and Jack; brother Raymond Tod Johnson of Fairhope, Alabama.Joann was preceded in passing by her husbands Walter Fulton and Ross Hamby.
