Marilyn Lou (Cline) Fulton

Marilyn Lou Cline was born to Albert Frances and Vera Anne Cline on May 30, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was raised. Marilyn graduated from Will Rogers high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She met her husband Richard Fulton and they wed on April 9, 1951.

Marilyn and her husband Richard, moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 1951. While in Seminole they raised a family of four children, one son and three daughters. During this time, Marilyn taught art lessons from both her home and other venues. Painting was her passion, she knew she had a God-given talent and loved to use it! Painting was a way for her to make connections with people, and she always found a way to Glorify God with her work.

The family moved to Enid in 1970. Marilyn was a long time member of the Art Association and displayed her work at the Gallery of Fine Arts. She Also held art classes at her house. Marilyn was also involved in Red Hatters, and enjoyed Canasta with her card club. She was involved with the Missions Organization at Emmanuel Baptist Church. She also took great joy in participating in the painting of scenery for the yearly Christmas Pageant. She was a very crafty lady, doing “DIY” 50 years ago!!

Marilyn was preceded in death by both parents, Albert Frances and Vera Anne (Riley) Cline and two daughters, Rhonda Fulton and Elizabeth (Fulton) Warner. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband of 66 years, Richard Fulton, a son Robert Fulton and wife Judi. A daughter, Karen (Fulton) Guffey and husband Mark Guffey. Seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

There is much to know about Marilyn Fulton but the most important thing is that she love the Lord, she loved her husband, and she loved her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Wade Burleson officiating.  Committal prayers and interment will be held on Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.   Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
