Mary B. Litschke went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, following a brief hospitalization.  A Graveside service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, November 19 at 10:00 AM at the Waukomis Cemetery.  Dr. Robert L. Courtney, pastor of Hillsdale Bible Church will officiate the service. Visitation with the family present will be held on Friday evening, November 18, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stittsworth’s.  Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Mary was born December 2, 1934 in Enid, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of L.T. and Esther Johnson.  Mary was raised on a farm east of Kremlin.  She graduated from Kremlin High School in 1952.  She married Joe E. Litschke in 1953.  They lived on the Litschke Family Farm south of Enid where they farmed and raised registered Polled Hereford cattle.  Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed working outside the home as well.  In addition, she was an active volunteer member of the Oklahoma Pollette Association, auxiliary of the Oklahoma Polled Hereford Association.  She and her husband Joe, also served as volunteers for the Enid Senior Ambucs.

Mary is survived by her three children, Pamela Litschke Courtney and husband Robert, Hillsdale OK, Cindy D. Mendel and husband Randy, Covington OK, and John M. Litschke and wife Teresa, Elkin North Carolina.  In addition she is survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Moore, Blackwell OK and Dorothy Walta, Caldwell KS, and one brother, Ted Johnson, Blackwell OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Litschke; parents, L.T. and Esther Johnson, Blackwell OK; four brothers, Bill Johnson, Brahman OK, Florn Johnson, Kremlin OK, Joe Johnson, Blackwell OK, Robert Johnson, Blackwell OK, and David Johnson, Blackwell OK; one sister, Janice Ropp, Blackwell OK;  and one great grandson, Will McKinney, Enid OK.
