Sharon Kay (Bateman) Miller

 A come and go memorial for Sharon Kay Miller age 65 who passed away on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at her home in Garber, Okla. will be 2-4 pm on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the Garber Christian Church.  Sharon was born January 4, 1953 in Enid, Okla. to James A. Bateman and Cora Nell “Bobbie” Snider Bateman.  She was the youngest of five children, one brother – Paul Bateman of Garber, Okla. three sisters – JoAnn Best, Martha Fisher of Enid, Okla. and the late Cisi Canady.
    Sharon attended school at Wakita, Okla. grades 1st-7th and Garber, Okla., grades 8th-12th, graduating in 1971.  She married her high school sweetheart Billy Alan Miller on January 2, 1970 at the Garber Christian Church.  On June 24, 1970 their daughter Angela Kay Miller was born.
    Sharon had many jobs, Garber Drug Store, Braums, Cook at Drummond School, Cashier & Customer Service Rep. Pioneer Telephone Drummond Office, Willow Inn Café, and the one she enjoyed the most was being a homemaker.  Sharon liked to sew, quilt, cook, garden, can, play cards, and go to the casinos, but the one thing she loved was spending time with her husband and kids, Angela Kay and husband Michael Koehl of Enid, Okla. One granddaughter Alayna Kay Koehl of Enid, Okla. One grandson Alan Michael Koehl and wife Kaylan “Katie” of Waukomis, Okla. and one great granddaughter Kayleigh Raye Koehl “Peanut” and many family and friends.    The family has requested ,In lieu of flowers memorial donation checks be made payable  to Garber Christian Church or Hospice Circle of Love.
