Martin Wayne Lowrie, age 67, Ponca City, OK, passed away on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at St. Francis, Tulsa, OK.

Martin was born on July 5, 1956, to Norman Wayne and Greta (Martin) Lowrie in Denton, Texas.

Martin graduated in 1974, from Paris High School, Paris, TX.

After graduation, Martin had several jobs but followed his family to Ponca City and went to work for GE Aviation, In Winfield, KS, while owning his own painting business for over 20 years.

In 1983 Martin met Glenda (Jones) Lowrie in Ponca City and went on to have on daughter, Arlienna Lowrie and one granddaughter, Leirayella Lowrie.

Martin was a very giving man! He loved to help others and he enjoyed a good laugh. He loved playing (and winning) at dominoes and like most Lowries, he was a bit stubborn!

Martin loved “junking”, he would go through dumpsters and make it to every garage sale that he possibly could. He also loved painting houses and of course...Smoking his cigarettes!

Martin is preceded in death his father, Norman Wayne Lowrie, his mother, Greta Lowrie, and one brother Michael Wayne Lowrie.

He is survived by his wife Glenda, his daughter Arlienna and his granddaughter Leirayella, all of the home, brother Kenneth Lowrie and Billie, of Kingston, OK, sister Kathy Russell and Bobby of Ponca City, sister Ronda Lowrie, Oklahoma City, and brother Brad Lowrie and Connie of Zagreb, Croatia, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stittsworth Funeral Home, Enid, OK.

There will be no viewing before the service.
