Cameron Allen Ross
Cameron Allen Ross was born in Ponca City on Sept. 25, 1996, to parents Charlie and Pamela Ross. Cameron, at the age of 21, went to his heavenly home on Friday, May 11, 2018.
Cameron, in his short time, battled and rose above many obstacles. He was currently employed by Ponca Iron and Metal where he was blessed with two mentors, Joe Petty and Louis Silvey. Cameron will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and fun personality.
Cameron’s love for his family was deep. Few days passed that he didn’t have a conversation with his mother. Growing up, Cameron enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes with his brother and sister. He also enjoyed caring for his younger sister. His love for family grew even stronger when he heard he was becoming a father. Cameron was engaged to Shalom McClung and was expecting a baby girl, Everlee Joy, in September 2018.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela Ross Hutson and step-father, Toby Hutson; brothers, Colton Ross and Ryan Flores and sisters, Chloe Ross and Sophie Hutson; grandmothers, Doris Ross, of Ponca City and Patti Riffe of Independence, Kan.; grandfather, Allen Brown, of Lakeland, Fla. and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Ross and grandfather, Charles Ross. A memorial service was held Friday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at the Carolyn Renfro Event Center, 445 Fairview Ave. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
