Celebration of live services for Cheryl Lynn Wood, 52, Enid, will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel.  Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Cheryl was born on June 19,1965 in Enid, the daughter of Harold and Jewell Guthrie Koons, and passed away suddenly on September 16, 2017 at a local hospital.  Cheryl was raised and educated in Enid, later receiving her GED.  She worked for Union Equity, Enid Regional Hospital in the Emergency Department, Vance Air Force Base in the housekeeping department,  and Cleaning houses. Her hobbies were her family and taking care of her dogs, fishing, and window shopping.  Survivors include her daughter, Cassi Mootz of Enid; son, Nathan Mootz of Harvard, Nebraska; brothers, Chris and wife Tanya Prochaska and Richard and wife Kim Koons both of Enid, Phillip Reuss and Doug Reuss, both of Goltry, Oklahoma,  one granddaughter Lamesha Tucker of Stillwater. Cheryl’s father, Harold Koons of Weatherford and Cheryl’s “Other” dad, Albert Prochaska of Enid.  Cheryl was preceded in passing by her mom, Jewell.
