Darlene Elliott Obituary

Darlene Eula Elliott, 93, Enid Resident, Passed away peacefully on February 19, 2018 in Enid.  She was born to William H. and Edythe (Brockman) Sayles in Sheridan, Wyoming.  She was well known for her activism and volunteering.  Darlene served as director of the YWCA and the Sheridan County American Red Cross.  Darlene was named Director Emeritus of the Sheridan Senior Center.  After the death of her husband, Russell Elliott, and failing health, she moved to Enid to be with family.  She was a member of University Place Christian Church.  Darlene is survived by her daughter, Judy Huhman (Anthony) and four grandsons, Jason (Renee) of Lovell, Arkansas, Joseph of Panama City Beach, Florida, Jeremy (Tracy) and John (Joanna) of Enid. Four great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sheridan, Wyoming.  Donations may be made in Darlene's name to University Place Christian Church, 2107 East Broadway, Enid, Oklahoma 73701 or Hospice Circle of Love.  Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
