Darryl Glen Sewell

Darryl Glen Sewell passed away in his home on August 18, 2019 in Lahoma, Oklahoma. He was 57. Darryl was born on June 29, 1962 in Colorado to his parents, Roberta and Windell Sewell.

In his younger years, Darryl was an active rodeo participant and rode bareback in competition. After the birth of his sons, Darryl graduated from the police academy in Colorado where he worked up to become an investigator and deputy. He went on to work in corrections in Oklahoma thereafter. Friends and family of Darryl rave about his artistic ability and natural talent for drawing and painting. He beautifully drew portraits and scenes of family members, his sons, and his time spent in the rodeo.

Darryl is survived by his mother, Roberta; his wife, Pamela; his two sons, Tyler and Jared; his two brothers and sister, Dave, Dean, and Danette. He has one grandson, Declan Sewell. He is preceded in death by his father, Windell.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 23rd at Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors at 2420 N. Washington in Enid, OK. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Darryl’s life.  Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
