Deborah Ann (Olson) Huls

Deborah Ann Huls died peacefully at her home in Tishomingo, OK on Wednesday May 1st 2019 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born May 27th 1954 in Litchfield, MN the daughter of Victor and Evelyn (Joramo) Olson.

Debbie graduated high school from Grove City in 1972. Following graduation Debbie worked several years at Jennie-O Foods in Willmar and Litchfield. On October 7th1977, Debbie welcomed her twins Todd and Tiffany. In 1986, Debbie went on to work for Instant Web Companies in Chanhassen, where she met Steve Brooks and his son Stevie. Debbie moved to Shakopee and resided there until she moved to Tishomingo, Oklahoma in 2002 where she met Leon Huls. Debbie and Leon were married June 24th2004. While living in Oklahoma, she worked at Lowe’s in Durant and Alliance Health Durant.

Debbie enjoyed bowling, sewing and crocheting blankets. She was also an avid blood and plasma donor. Since her move to Oklahoma, Debbie and Leon loved to travel to MN to visit family every summer making sure to stop at every Wal-Mart on the way.

In addition to her father and Ozema Huls, Debbie is preceded in death by her husband Leon, who passed in January 2014.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Evelyn and her children Todd (Melissa) Olson, Tiffany (Tad) Marschall; Leon’s children Quinton (Kelly) Huls, Shayna (Brent) Coy; grandchildren Jack and Sam Olson; Taryn and Taya Marschall; Chloe, Logan and Callee Huls; Cadence Hall and Ash Coy; Sisters Donna (Mark) Beckstrand, DiAnn (Shane) Selders, Denise (Michael) Stewart. Nieces and nephews Lindsay (Jason) Ruppert, Luke (Jenna) Beckstrand, Cody Selders, Kylie and Corban Stewart. Many other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield, MN at 10:30 am Saturday May 25th 2019. Lunch to follow at Chilstrom Hall First Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. Flowers and Memorials may be sent to First Lutheran Church 703 S Sibley Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355.
