Delilah Mary Branham was welcomed into this world December 26 1933 to William and Edna Branham. She was the younger sister of Buster Branham. She dedicated her life to Jesus at a young age and used her allowance money on piano lessons instead of candy. She loved playing her piano and accordion and singing hymnals anytime the church doors were open. She married William McConnell in June of 1953. Her world was complete when her son Mike McConnell was born August 20 1961. They had a dairy farm selling cream and eggs to Fairview and Watonga cheese factory while raising their son. Delilahs sun rose and set with the love of her son Mike. She enjoyed going to Canton lake after milking cows in the summer to relax after hard days on farm. She was very fond of her dogs and proud of her white cats. Delilah and William lived their golden years on the farm. She got to witness the birth of her twin grandchildren Olivia and Matthew in July of 2010. She moved closer to son and grand babies after her husband passed. Delilah was the pioneer woman and could do anything you asked of her. She will be missed for all her love and great knowledge. Instead of flowers, the family has requested memorial donation checks be made payable to SPCA. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
