Dorothy I. (Meadors) Lambert

Dorothy I. Lambert of Enid passed away on July 19, 2018. Dorothy was born on September 14, 1926 to John and Rebecca Jane Meadors in Drumright, Oklahoma.  She was the 12th of 13 children and the last surviving of her generation. She was a hard worker, raising two children as a single mother  and when she retired at the age of 62, she was blessed to be able to volunteer as a Grandmother “Grandma Dorothy” at Hayes Elementary School for over 10 years.  It was such a rewarding experience for her and she always recommended the program to others. Survivors are her children, Robert Veach and his daughters Katie and Brandy, Bill  and Cathy Beers and their sons, Brian,  Bill and his wife Sue and their children Piper and Emma Claire Beers, and Several nieces and nephews.
