Edna Ruth (Frazier) Wilson

Funeral services for Edna Ruth Wilson, 81, will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ames Baptist Church with Pastor Clifford Dale Rogers officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Ames Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Ruth was born on November 28, 1937 in Ames, Oklahoma, the daughter of LeRoy and Maude Burlington, and passed away peacefully on September 30, 2019 in Wichita. She was raised and educated in Ames. Ruth married Richard Ray Wilson on June 3, 1955 in Enid. He preceded her in passing on January 17, 2014. They moved to Wichita, later moving back to Enid. Ruth was the owner and operator of Ruth’s Alterations and was affiliated with the Ames Assembly of God Church, later attending the Cowboy Church. Survivors include her brother, Clarence Frazier of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Ann Barnett of Oklahoma City and Ruby Lenora Bridges of Enid; Daughters, Linda June Wilson-Rogers of Clearmont, Florida and Beckey Jean Wilson Yeager of Wichita, Kansas; six grandchildren.
