Elyn Daniel Gonzales

Funeral Mass for Elyn Daniel Gonzales, 8 year old Medford resident, will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.  in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Carl Janocha serving as celebrant.  Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Stittsworth Funeral Service, Medford.  Rosary services will be held on September 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Elyn was born August 9, 2010 in Enid Oklahoma to Bobby and Lori Gonzales. Our beloved little farmer went to heaven after helping harvest his last field on August 31, 2018. Elyn grew up in Medford, OK and attended 2nd grade at Medford Elementary. He could always be found working on the farm and enjoying the outdoors. He was an avid sports fan with a passion for baseball, football, and his dad’s Texas Longhorns. Elyn loved to hunt and fish any chance he could. His most favorite hobby was playing in the dirt. Elyn had such a unique personality. He was truly one of a kind. He was always upbeat and so excited to help anyone do even the smallest of tasks. He was also very kind and thoughtful. When his mom told him he was going to have a little sister he offered to give up his own bedroom for her. His example of thoughtfulness, and his big ornery grin will be missed by so many.  Elyn is survived by his parents, brothers Eli and Ethan, sister Elena and a new little sister that will be born this October. Grandparents are Danny and Mary Biggerstaff and Robert and Mary Gonzales all from Medford, OK. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his cousins Noel, Brittany, and Jet Gonzales.
