Celebration of life services for Frank William Looney, 67, Enid resident, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Military honors will be coordinated by the United States Army. Committal prayers and interment will be next to Frank’s wife in Liano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Frank was born on November 30, 1950 in Odessa, Texas, the son of Richard Randolph and Aline Frances Cook Looney, and passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018 at his residence. He was raised and educated in Odessa, granduating high school there. The New York Mets tried to draft Frank but he declined. Frank served his country in the United States Army, serving two tours. He married Teresa Starr. She passed away in 2010. Frank was a welder for most of his life. Survivors include his niece, Alicia Ensminger and Fiance’ Josh Coulter of the residence; brothers, Lonnie Looney and Richard Looney, both of Texas; adopted son, Phillip Lee of Enid.
