Joyce Faye (Clark) Hobbs

Graveside services for Joyce Faye Hobbs, 81, Enid, will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pond Creek Cemetery with Pastor Rick Dominic officiating.  Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Joyce was born on March 7, 1937 in Taloga, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Evelyn Clark, and passed away peacefully on January 25, 2019 in Enid.  She was raised and educated in Seiling, Oklahoma, graduating from Seiling High School.  Joyce married Bernard Hobbs in Miami, Oklahoma on March 15, 1958.  He preceded her in passing on April 22, 2012.  Joyce received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.  She worked at Bass and St. Mary’s Hospital as director of nurses.  Later, Joyce was a nursing instructor at Autry Tech.  Joyce worked a few years as a home health nurse until retirement.  Joyce was a member of Your Family Church.  Survivors include her son, Phil and wife Donna of Enid; 2 grandsons; 5 great-grandchildren.  The family has requested memorial checks for Joyce be made payable to Your Family Church.
