Mary Lou was born December 12 in Sapulpa, OK to Bill & Mildred Russell. She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1969 and then attended Northern Oklahoma College. She married Bill Kleinmann, Sr. her high school sweetheart in 1971. Over the 40+ years of working at various locations across Ponca City, it created an opportunity for Mary to meet people from all walks of life. Nothing brought her more joy than welcoming people with a smile and getting to know them as a person instead of just a customer. Basically no one was a stranger after talking to her for just a few minutes. Some of the places she worked at over the years in Ponca City were: Kwik Copy, Mertz, Hospice of Ponca City, and Graves Drug Store.

Mary was a very avid reader and her favorite type of books were murder mysteries. She was very passionate about giving back to her community and volunteered quite frequently at Helpline, Hospice, and other local events in Ponca City over the years. Her greatest gift as a person was always being there for her family and friends with a listening ear; she always wanted to help those in need.

A funeral is scheduled for 10am on Saturday August 17th at Community Christian Church 2109 W. Grand, Ponca City,OK with a reception to follow at the family home 1442 E. South Ave Ponca City,OK.
