Thelma Jane Webb, 95, of Blackwell, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017. She was born on Sept. 23, 1922, the daughter of Stanley and Nora Campbell in Woodward.

Thelma was raised on their family farm south of Woodward and married Earl Webb on March 1, 1943, in Sioux Falls, S.D., where he was stationed in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945.  After WWII they farmed north of Deer Creek and moved to Blackwell in 1958. They became active members of First Baptist Church in Blackwell and she worked as a secretary for the church for several years.  She later worked for Kay Baptist Association in Ponca City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; brother, Donald Campbell, of Houston, Texas and sister, Eleanor Campbell.  She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Earl Webb, of Blackwell; three brothers, Gerald Campbell, of Glendale, Calif.; Bill Campbell, of Villa Park California and Charles Campbell, of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Ruth Neighbors, of Oklahoma City and Marilyn Wickham, of Tulsa; children, Chuck Webb and wife Jane, of Blackwell; Barbara Webb, of Tulsa; Mike Webb and wife Kathi, of Broken Arrow; Steve Webb and wife Diane, of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, family reunions and spending winters in Port Aransas, Texas. Her engaging smile and good-natured laugh will be missed by all who knew her. Plans are being made for a memorial Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church in Blackwell on Saturday, March 3, 2018, also celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary.
