Celebration of life services for Vance Lee Sprowls, 26, Enid resident, will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Stride Center. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Vance was born on February 3, 1993 in Grass Valley, California, the son of Thomas J. Patton and Mandy Sprowls, and passed away on April 27, 2019 in Oklahoma City. He was raised and educated in Garber, graduating from Garber High School with the class of 2010. While at Garber, he was the starting running back for the Garber Football Team State Champions 2008 and 2009. He participated in the Tough Man Competition. He enjoyed boxing, motorcycles, music, yard work, and any country boy stuff. Vance worked in the oilfield for Torque Casing.
Vance is survived by his mother, Mandy Sprowls of Garber; Father, Thomas J. Patton of Timbuckto, California; sister, Tashina Ahner of Enid; brothers, Lyle (Lynnecia) Ahner of Enid, and Shaun Prock of Garber; Grandmothers: Sherry Eaton from Ponca City, Patty Patton and Kim Lyles both of California; aunt, Laurie Richardson and husband Kenneth Scott of Covington; uncle, Shaun Sprawls of Cushing, Oklahoma; cousins, Matecha Crawford of Enid, Michael Corder of Edmond, Michelle Richardson of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Devon Baggett of Enid, and Kayla Burton.
