Mass of Christian burial for Vincent Anthony Arbona, Sr., 79, Ponca City resident, will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Tonkawa with Father Benjamin Lieun officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Tonkawa, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Vincent was born on June 12, 1938 in Spain, the son of Vincent and Pilar Morrone Abrona, and passed away suddenly on April 5, 2018 in Tulsa. He was raised in Venzuela, moving to America in 1959. Vincent married Martha Marie West in Kingfisher. She preceded him in passing. Vincent received his Associates Degree at Northern Oklahoma College. He worked as a Draftsman for Rush Metals in Billings, then Pelton in Ponca City. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He loved dancing, making jokes, talking, spending time with family, going to casinos, and he was very proud of all his grand and great grand children. He will be truly missed by all. Survivors include Son Vincent, Jr. and wife Kim of Ponca City, son Walter of Ponca City, and daughter Leisha Arnold of Ponca City. 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
