Bradley Keith McBrain

Bradley Keith McBrain, age 60, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on June 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 in Eddy New Home Cemetery with Pastor Donnie Hazelwood officiating.  Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Born on August 5, 1965, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, Brad was the fifth of six children born to Francis and Dorothy McBrain. A lifelong resident of the area, he devoted much of his life to his family, friends, work, and community.

Brad was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical talent, and generous spirit. He worked in several industries, including the oilfield, earning the respect of those around him through his reliability, determination, and readiness to help others. Gifted at repairing and restoring nearly anything with an engine, he enjoyed working on automobiles, lawn mowers, and countless projects for family, friends, and neighbors. Whenever someone needed assistance, Brad was often the first to lend a hand.

Outside of work, Brad enjoyed fishing, spending time with loved ones, and sharing stories and laughter. He was a man of quiet strength, patience, and kindness. His calm demeanor, gentle nature, and steadfast loyalty made him a trusted friend and cherished family member.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Francis McBrain and Dorothy Littleton; his sister, Sherri McBrain; and his niece, Diana Gaither.

He is survived by his brothers, Craig McBrain and Todd McBrain of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Kirk McBrain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his sister, Sandra Foster of Sulphur, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Brad’s life reflected hard work, humility, and compassion. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched through his kindness, generosity, and devotion to those he loved. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
