Chester Hall, Jr. Obituary

Chester Lee Hall Jr. was a big outdoors person who loved fishing and hunting and working outside in his garden and playing with his dog and cat he went on his last hunting trip on December 22 2024 and shot his last deer that evening with his son. He was 64 years old. Chester was born in Ponca City, OK on May 10 1960 to Chester Lee Hall Sr. and Ruby Ruth Hall. He was raised in Osage county working at a gas station in high school and liked to party. After high school he worked in the oil field for Sayhaul for 7 years and during that time he met Sharon Cooper and got married and had 2 kids Chester Lee Hall III and Joseph James Hall. Then went to smith international building drill bit for rigs during their divorce. In 1992 he moved to Elk City for 2 yrs then moved back to Ponca City to the Family Farm were he lived working on the farm for a few years then moved back to town to take care his mom and dad till they passed then moved to Norman, ok and worked at OU collage for 6 years and during this time he adopted his dog Tyson Hall and he became his service dog then moved back to Ponca City and did volunteer work foir the Kaw Lake at the swimming beach for 7 Years till his health got worse and moved to Ringwood, OK with his Son Chester for the remainder of his life were he passed in his camper with his dog, son and daughter in law by his side. 

 

Chester was preceded in death by his Father Chester Lee Hall Sr, mother Ruby Ruth Hall, sisters Glenda Ruth Pitzer, Brenda Lee Canaday, son Joseph James Hall , Grandkids James Chester Lee Hall, Heaven Hall. Survived by his dog, Tyson Hall, sister Mary Revard of Ponca City, son Chester Lee Hall III and wife Heather of Ringwood and 8 grandkids and 2 great grandkids.

 

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday Jan 15 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Ponca City at 2pm.
