Christopher Scott Johnson

A celebration of life for Christopher Scott Johnson, age 58 years, of Enid, will be 2:00-4:00 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at his home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Stittsworth Funeral Home.  Chris was born May 28, 1966 in Enid to Lanny and Jane (Wheeler) Johnson and passed away from this earth on Sunday, May 25, 2025 surrounded by his family.  Chris was raised in Enid, Stillwater, and Nash, where he graduated high school from Jet Nash in 1984. He married his high school sweetheart, Alicia Myrick. From that reunion, they had 3 children, Jennifer, Jessi, and Cody. He then married Kim Hager in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on December 13, 2006, He gained 2 step daughters, Shasta and Shayla. Chris loved dirt track racing, where he won multiple championships in the #55. He was a successful fisherman, winning countless tournaments with his son Cody. Chris worked for OG&E as a fleet senior mechanic for almost 20 years.  Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Lanny Johnson and Jane Burt.  He is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home in Enid; 3 children, daughter Jennifer Hammons and husband Mike, of Medford; daughter Jessi Royal and husband Ryan, of Medford; son Cody Johnson and wife Vanessa, of Medford; six grandchildren, Adylyn and Logan Hammons, Reese, Jase, and Charli Royal, and Jax Johnson; sister Kim Briggs and husband Eddie of Gilbert, IA; brother Greg Burt and wife Becky of Waukomis; two step daughters, Shasta Alcorn and husband Nick of Enid; Shayla Settlemires and husband Corey of Enid; and five step grandchildren; as well as many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chris’s name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love.
