Darlene Wayne, age 74, passed away peacefully on Jan 19, 2026 in Enid, OK.

A celebration of life will be held on Sat. Feb 28, 2026, from 5pm - 7 pm at the Enid Elks Lodge, 520 W. Oxford. This will be a come and go gathering.

Darlene was born and raised in Box Elder, South Dakota. Darlene met the love of her life Pete Wayne, they married and had two daughters, Deanna and Sandy. After losing her husband in 1996, Darlene met her life partner, John Peters.

Darlene loved going to the casino, playing pool and spending time with her kids, extended kids, grandchildren and friends.

Darlene is survived by her partner John Peters of the home, daughters : Deanna Bishop (husband John), Sandy Andrew (husband Kevin), Step Son’s Lucas and Johnny Peters, her brother Floyd Lewis (wife Sherry).

Her grandchildren: Dionne Demps (husband Quinton), Heather Bishop (partner Brandi), Tiffany McKellar (wife Chelle), Lexsie Stevens (husband Tommy), Hayden Mann, Jonathan Bishop (wife Hope). 13 great-grandchildren, several extended daughters and lots of friends.

Darlene was proceeded in death by her parents Leon and Corrine Lewis, husband Pete Wayne, brothers Richard and Dennis Lewis.
