David Davis

David Ellis Davis, 63 of Enid, Oklahoma passed away at Oklahoma City, Ok surrounded by his loving family on January 7, 2025, following a courageous battle with liver cancer.

He was born November 26, 1961, in Lynwood, California. David was the son of the late Warner Ellis Davis and Marie (Vanderwarff) Dickey.

He graduated from Monte Vista High School in Whittier, California, June 1979. David enlisted with the United States Air Force immediately after high school. He served from 1979 and honorably discharged as a sergeant for the motor pool in 1984.

David enjoyed music, playing his guitar, gaming, and adventures at Little Sahara.

David spent many years working in the oilfield business and an over the road truck driver. After retiring, he worked part time for the City of Enid Transit.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Cheryl of the home, a daughter, Jessica Davis and son Matthew Davis of Enid, Oklahoma; sisters Sonya Globokar and Pam Dewitt; brother Gary Dickey; niece and nephews along with many friends.

David was a good and thoughtful man, known for his generous nature. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends that knew him.
