David Wayne Stieber

David Wayne Stieber passed away peacefully at home Monday, May 6, 2019. He was 59 years old.
 David was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on December 17, 1959 to Howard and Joyce (McEnany) Stieber. David was raised in Ponca City, graduating with the Class of 1978.
David was a welder by trade and was President of Pipefitters Union #767 for 20 years. David had worked for ConocoPhillips and TRowe Pipe. David loved to fish, cook, entertain and anything OU football.
David was married to Lisa Diane Stinson in 1998. To this union, Erin Dayle Stieber was born on March 17, 2000. David was a very doting and loving father to Erin and Todd. He and Diane, along with their children got to spend ten happy years together traveling and being a family here in Ponca before Dianes' passing in 2010.
David was an avid OU fan and the only thing that existed on gameday was lots of food and football. David loved to entertain and cook. He was always the best host, always making sure everyone else had what they needed. He spoiled his daughter and her friends, always cooking for them when they came to visit.
David was a very loving and proud uncle. He loved his nephews and nieces very much and was so proud of them and their accomplishments in life.
In 2014, David was introduced to a woman wearing an OSU sweatshirt.  On September 12, 2015, David and Tammy Greer Melton were married in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, becoming a house divided on gameday, but oh what fun!
David is survived by his wife Tammy of the home, daughter Erin Stieber and Andrew Snow of Ponca City, son Todd Vidricksen and wife Prycila of Durango, Mexico, son, Ryan Kersey and wife Shannon of Bella Vista, Arkansas.Grandchildren, Gavin Johnston, Landon Tudor and KyLee Shieldknight. 
David is also survived by his father Howard Stieber of Ponca City, brother, Barry Stieber and wife Lisa of Broken Arrow, sister,Tresa Hammond and husband Joe of Edmond. Inlaws, Owen and Julia Greer of Ponca City, Paul and Wanda Emerson of Diamond, Missouri. Mark and Tammy Greer, Mark and Shelly Smith and Perry and Leslie Schauvliege of Ponca City.  Randy and Peggy Tuter and Roy and Deanna Greer of Diamond, Missouri, and many nephews great-nephews, nieces and great-nieces, including a very special great-niece Tatum, who always seem to find Uncle Davids' stash of candy.
David was preceded in death by his wife Diane in 2010 and his mother, Joyce in March of 2019.
A memorial service for David will be held Saturday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m., at the Carolyn Renfro Event Center at 445 Fairview Ave. in Ponca City.
