Donna Mae Humble departed this world to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 9, 2020. Donna was born on November 17, 1939 to Don and Charlotte Spencer in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She then moved to Blackwell where she met her high school sweetheart Norman. They were married December 21, 1956. The story of her proposal was a favorite of her’s to tell. Norman had put her engagement ring on a stick of her favorite Wrigley's Spearmint Gum. He asked for her hand in marriage, and they had 63 wonderful years together.

Donna worked for the Blackwell Security Bank while Norman served in the United States Air Force on the Island of Okinawa, Japan. Donna also worked for the City of Ponca City Municipal Center, Goody Broadus Insurance Agency and the Jack Rein Insurance Agency before becoming Dr. John R. Robinson’s receptionist in 1973. She worked for him until his death in 1995. Then, she worked for Dr. Wesley Nipper for two years until she retired to spend more time with Norman and her growing family. Donna was a member of the Community Christian Church for almost 50 years, serving as Sunday School Teacher, a Choir Member and President of the Sarah Group.

Donna was a member of the DAR Society since 1997. She became a lifetime member in 2004. She served as the America History Chairman, the Chaplain, the Treasurer and her favorite roll as the Ponca City Chapter Regent.

Donna was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, quilting, baking, teaching her grandkids how to cook and genealogy. She loved traveling with Norman and her friends to Alaska, and the Bahamas. Donna had a love for her grandchildren, reading stories in different voices.

Donna was preceded in passing by her parents, and her older brother Charles. She is survived by her younger sister, Joanne of Arkansas; Her daughter, Katrina Sinor, RN of Ponca City; Dr. Chris Humble, DC and wife Khrystal of Ponca City; Four grandchildren which she was very proud of: Natalie Armstrong of Oklahoma City.
