Dorothy Sue (Kizziar) Horinek

Funeral services for Dorothy Sue Horinek, 58, Ponca City resident, will be held t 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor Jamey Wylie officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Dorothy was born on December 16, 1961 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the daughter of Leo Willie and Thelma (Wilson) Kizziar, and passed away on July 13, 2020 in Blackwell. She was raised in Fairfax, Oklahoma. Dorothy married Timothy Scott Horinek on December 10, 1982 in Ponca City. He passed away on December 18, 2013. Dorothy lived in Tonkawa and resided there until her passing. She loved to go to the casino, loved doing yard work, trimming trees, and helping others. Survivors include daughters, Misty Dawn McClaflin of Ponca City, Belinda Sue Horinek of Ponca City; son, Jeremy Scott Horinek of Tonkawa; five grandchildren, Braxton, Elijah, Xavier, Amya, and Malisha; brother, Clyde Kizziar of Ponca City. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in passing by her parents, sister, Belinda Mae Kizziar, brother’s, Leon and Billy Kizziar.
