Earlene Hoover

Earlene Hoover was born April 21, 1942 in Enid, OK to Irl Landaker and Blanche Hoisington and passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2025.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Hennessey Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Berkenbile officiating. Burial will follow in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Earlene met Paul Hoover on a blind date on New Years Eve and married on May, 29, 1958 in Andover, Kansas. They moved many times over the years between Oklahoma and Texas, landing in Hennessey in 1976.

Earlene worked at Wacker’s and then Winns in 1978, and then in 1984, working at Walmart for 17 plus years and then retiring as a Bookkeeper at Hoover Trucking.

Earlene is survived by her three children, David Ray and wife Connie, Paula (Susie) and husband Bill, and John Henry; three grandkids, Dale Hoover, Rebecca Williamson, Shawn Crissup; thirteen great grandkids, and nine great-great grandkids; and nephew Roger Bradley and wife Bonnie.

She was preceded in passing by both parents Irl and Blanche Landaker, husband of 58 years, Paul, daughter Roberta and son Richard.
