Eddie Williams Obituary

Eddie Kay (Kennedy) Williams of Enid passed from this earth Saturday, May 7, 2022 with her devoted husband of 62 years by her side.  She was 80 years old and had been battling dementia for over two years.
Eddie Kay was born in Mercedes, Texas on September 1, 1941 to her late parents Ed and Verna (Pearce) Kennedy.  They moved to Goodwell, Oklahoma where she attended and graduated high school and Panhandle State University.
While attending high school she met and married Ralph Williams on October 16, 1959. She is survived by her husband, and their four daughters:  Lillie Castor, Deborah Hazelwood both of Enid, Tena Fleming of Laverne and Deana Thrasher of Texhoma.
She is survived by her sister Verna Lee (Kennedy) Millikan of Greeley, Colorado, eight grandchildren:  Brian Bowles, Tammy Jackson, Tucker Fleming, Jenna Stump, Tyrel Fleming, Casandra Noyes, Dustin Thrasher and Cheyenne Thrasher.  She has twenty-two great grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew.  She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Johanna Noyes.
Ralph and Eddie Kay made their homes in Beaver, Guymon and in Goodwell.  They moved to Kansas later in life and eventually moved to the Enid, Oklahoma area.
During her life she worked as a kindergarten teacher, managed convenience stores, was a photographer for Wal-Mart and taught cake decorating at Hobby Lobby and Autry Vo-Tech in Enid.  She loved doing crafts, painting, singing, sewing for others and helping the granddaughters and great granddaughters with their sewing projects. But, her family believes her most favorite thing of all was camping and fishing and taking their dream trip to Alaska with “her honey”, Ralph.
