Ernest Remington Dilworth

Celebration of life services for Ernest Remington Dilworth, 74, Enid resident, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 19, 2205 in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Scott Shields officiating.  Military honors will be performed by the United States Navy.  Committal prayers will follow under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Ernest was born on February 21,1951 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Ernest Willard Dilworth and Hilda Mae Pumphrey Dilworth, and passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025 in Enid.  Ernest was raised and educated in Baltimore. He went into the Navy in 1970 and retired in 1993. Ernest married Carol Ann Lavergne on February 21, 1970 in  Topsham, Maine. Upon retirement, they moved to Enid.  Survivors include his wife Carol; daughter, Kaiulani Dilworth of Dodge City, Kansas; Grandchildren, Gabriel, Simon, Jazen, Tim Dilworth and Neveah Gordon; daughter-in-law,  Nyla Dilworth of Enid; sister, Aldora Dilworth Fawley of Baltimore, Maryland.  Ernest was preceded in passing by his parents, and son, Michael Dilworth.  Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
