James Wilbur Cox, Jr.

James Wilbur Cox Jr, born on December 21, 1950, and passed away Sunday March 22, 2026.

James was the son of Rhea York and James Cox Sr. He grew up alongside his siblings and carried those family bonds throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dana Tagge, and is survived by his brother, Cliff Cox.

James dedicated many years of his career to Pitney Bowes, where he worked as a service technician. He took pride in his work and was known for his reliability, skill, and strong work ethic. After years of service, he retired, leaving behind a respected career and lasting connections.

James was a devoted father and family man. He is survived by his children, Mathew, Anthony Cox, and Megan Hawk, along with their spouses. He was a proud grandfather to several grandchildren and to two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him joy.

James will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
