Johnnie Grant Shourek

Johnnie Grant Shourek was born June 12, 1959 in Enid, OK and passed away August 8, 2025 after a brief illness. 

Johnnie grew up in Enid.  

He worked for ONEOK for 30 plus  years retiring in 2011. He spent the last few years working at Lynn’s Machine Shop. He also spent many years throughout his life working in the bar industry picking up many friends along the way. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Coffey, and his father Edward Shourek. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Kasper (husband Nick) and his son Jacob Shourek as well as his grandson Gage. They were the “twinkle in his eye”. He is also survived by his beloved dog Zoey and a host of family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. 

Celebration of life service for Johnnie will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, August 18, 2025 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel, with Pastor Helmer Johnson officiating.
