She was born November 4, 1932, raised and schooled in Alva, Oklahoma, and graduated High School in 1950. In 2005 they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends. Dean and Katie enjoyed 64 years of marriage. After Dean passed away on January 7, 2019, Katie moved to Overland Park, Kansas, living at Brookdale.
