Our beautiful angel Kayla Suggs went to be with the Lord in heaven on September 30th 2021, she was 32. Kayla was born in Ponca City Oklahoma to Max and Edna Suggs on December 18th 1988. She grew up in Ponca City and attended Ponca City Schools then moved to Blackwell Oklahoma with her family in 2002. Kayla attended Pioneer Vo-Tech in the foods class. She got her first job at 17 years old working at KFC /Taco Bell, then went to working at Comfort Inn , Domino's Food Mart, Bipo, Sleep Inn and Pizza Hut all in Blackwell, Tonkawa Travel Plaza in Tonkawa, and Marco's Pizza in Ponca City. Kayla was a member of First Baptist Church of Blackwell.
Kayla loved life and spending time with her children family and friends, she also loved going to Arkansas with her family during the summer for vacation. Kayla's hobbies included fishing, learning new painting skills and going to the casino. Kayla is survived by her mother Edna Suggs, two son's Joseph Shelton and Zander Suggs, three daughters Zaiya Suggs, Jersey Suggs and Maxine Suggs all of the home. One brother Robert Hurley of Blackwell, Five Sisters, Marsha Wedman and husband Leon of Blackwell, Patricia McConnell and husband Tyler of Billings Oklahoma, Brandy Epperly and husband Paul of Blackwell, Kimberly Suggs of Glen Elyn Illinois, and Nikki Barnes and husband Bryan of Nardin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts,and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father Max Suggs and grandparents on both sides.
Services will be November 11th at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Blackwell (the corner of 1st and Bridge) with Pastor Cody Biby officiating.
Final resting place will be at RestHaven Cemetery in Ponca City. Pallbearers will be ,Josh McWilliams, Richard Hufft, Howard Nibarger, Aurthor Gonzer, Terrance Looper, and Russell Wright. Honorary will be, Zack Miller, Sam Miller, Leon Wedman, Logan Davis, Michael Poulson and Tyler McConnell.
