Larry Nathan Lake was born August 7, 1944, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Nathan Ervin Lake and Ruby Belle Hall Lake. He passed away September 25, 2023 at the age of 79.
Larry grew up on Fairview St, having many friends he would ride bikes with and watch 3D Danny on tv. Later he lived with his parents in a house on South Ave, which is where the Conoco Museum is now located.
He attended Ponca City public schools, graduating in 1962. He served four years in the Air Force at Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
In 1980 he met the girl he would spend the rest of his life with. Larry and Grace were married 42 years.
He worked at Conoco for 19 years. He then started his business of Lake Home Inspections, which he was doing up until he passed.
He loved ham radio, collecting antique radios and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Grace; his sons Adam Lake of Oklahoma City, Ryan Lake of Georgia, Brad Selvey of Ponca City, and Jaron Lake.His daughters Rachel Lake, Laura Lake and Rebekah Lake of Ponca City; and Hannah Lake of Las Vegas, NV.
He has 12 grandchildren and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant sister Anita Louise Lake.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Odd Fellows Cemetery 3:30pm.
To follow, there will be a dinner and gathering at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 401 South Lincoln St., Ponca City.
