Lawrence Duane Andrews, 56, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on March 14, 2026.
Duane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ross and Glenda Andrews and grew up in Mustang, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University and later graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he earned a degree in Commercial Art.
Duane dedicated 24 years of service with the Enid Police Department, where he served his community as a police officer, detective, D.A.R.E. officer, and training officer throughout his career. His work reflected his commitment to protecting and serving the people of Enid.
He was known for his sense of humor and for telling great stories that kept family and friends laughing. He will be remembered for the joy and laughter he brought to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Andrews; his children, Emily (Dakota) Theilen, David (Kenzie) Andrews, and Connor Andrews; his stepchildren, Ashley Dickson and Nathan Dickson; his grandson, Henry Theilen; his sisters, Debbie Rosenow and Michelia Moore, and nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Glenda Andrews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, Oklahoma. With Pastor Alan Seibel officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
