Linda Middleton Obituary

Linda Louise Middleton, 69, a lifelong resident of Newkirk left this earth to be with her Lord and savior on April 26, 2022, in Blackwell, OK. After battling sickness for several years, she is now at peace. Linda was born on February 23, 1953, in Ponca City, OK to Olland and Dorothy Engle. She was raised in Newkirk and was the youngest out of 10 kids. Linda adored her grandkids and great grandkids. She was known for her golden heart and was an amazing friend to every person she met. On good days Linda enjoyed cooking and talking on the phone. Before her ailment she enjoyed watching her husband plant flower gardens, and baking cookies for different holidays with her grandkids. She worked in the kitchen, in Social Services and the Activity Director at Newkirk Nursing Home until her health declined. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Middleton; both her parents Olland and Dorothy Engle; Brothers Vern, Leonard, Jack and Larry Engle; Sisters Vivian and Judy; multiple family members and friends. Linda married the love of her life on July 10, 1969, in Newkirk, OK. They had 3 beloved children. Sherry and Walt White of Ponca City, Mike Jr. and Rebecca Middleton of Newkirk, and Angie and Perry Estes of Ponca. Linda is survived by a brother, 2 sisters and multiple family members. Linda has 8 grandkids with significant others: Jeremy White and Jacalyn Roberts of Stillwater, Dakota Middleton and Amaraye Hartley of Ponca City, Dalton Cheeseman and Tiffany Green of Newkirk, Kevin Middleton and Ashley Wickens of Newkirk, Kayla White and Dawson Leatherman of Newkirk, Taylor Middleton of Newkirk, Dyllon Cheeseman and Alena Horinek of Newkirk, William Middleton of Newkirk. Linda has 10 great grandkids: Wyatt and Remmi Middleton of Ponca City, Rhyann Middleton of Newkirk, Hunter Roberts and Hudson White of Stillwater, Tywon and Tristin Green and Isabella Cheeseman of Newkirk, and McKinley Middleton of Newkirk. The family will be celebrating the life of Linda for family and friends at the Carolyn Renfro Center 445 E Fairview Ave in Ponca City on Saturday May 7th at 3.
