Louise Stevenson Obituary

Funeral Services for Louise Stevenson, 94, Enid resident, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Garriott Road Church of Christ with Ray Rose officiating.  Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.  Visitation will be held at Stittsworth's on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 5-7 pm.  Louise Cobb Williams Stevenson was born in Texas on January 25, 1928, to Corrine Cobb. A resident of Enid, she was a longtime member of the church of Christ that met on South 3rd Street. 
In her younger years, Louise was called "Rosie the Riveter" for Boeing in Wichita. She also worked for the State School of Oklahoma until her retirement. 
After that, she worked for Mr. and Mrs. Lowenhaupt until the wife's passing. 
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Edgar Williams, her only child, Edgar Williams Jr., and her second husband, Stan Stevenson. 
Louise lived at her home in Enid with the help of her friends and neighbors until just days before her passing. She was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
