Luann (Bainter) `Cox`

Luann (Bainter) Cox was born Sept. 8, 1950, and passed away peacefully at 75 on Feb. 28, 2026 surrounded by family. Luann was born to Ernest and Clarissa Bainter and grew up in Enid. Luann was a graduate of Enid High School in 1968 and went on to graduate from Enid Beauty College in 1969 to become a hairdresser for many years in Enid and mother to her three wonderful children Matthew, Anthony, and Megan.

Luann was preceded in death by her parents in 1970 and 1971 and raised her younger brother and sister while starting her own family. She was also preceded in death by her brother Larry Bainter, sister-in-law Vicki Bainter, sister Lenette Gates, and nephew Eric Bainter.

Luann is survived by her three children Matthew, Anthony, and Meagan Cox and their spouses; her brothers Lanny and Lynn Bainter and their spouses, all of her grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and cherished.

A Family Gathering for Luann Cox will be held at a later date and arrangement's for her cremation are through Stittsworth Funeral Services. Thank you for your prayers and kindness!
