She was born on February 18, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas to Charles J Davidson and Christine M Davidson (Hildebrand). She moved around a lot in her younger years due to her father’s occupation of being a tank builder, finally settling in Ponca City, Oklahoma where she attended Ponca City schools. After high school, she married Darrell Gene Lampe with whom she had three sons. She was a loving and devoted mother never missing any sporting events that her sons were participating in, especially summer baseball for many years. She worked for the Kansas Turnpike Authority for several years as a toll collector and eventually moved back to Ponca City (her hometown) where she eventually retired and currently resided. She was a huge dog lover and was completely devoted to her current pooches, Rowdy and Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents (Charles and Christine), a brother (Glen) and sister (Norma). She is survived by her brother, Jim Davidson (Sandra) of Tulsa, OK, three sons Darrell (Paula) of Mulvane, KS, Chad of Mulvane, KS and Jamie of Ponca City, OK, several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was such a wonderful and devoted grandmother who loved all her grandchildren but had a very special bond with her granddaughter Lindsey with whom she spent lots of time with over the years. She was such a beautiful person inside & out and will be missed so much and never forgotten by all her family and many friends. A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determine
