Mark Allen Jester gained his angel wings on March 25, 2025, with his girls by his side at home. Mark was born on September 12, 1960, the son of Connie Gene Jester and Linda Eastman Jester, the oldest of three children. Growing up, he enjoyed visiting his grandparents in Oregon. He met Jarita Hopkins at Bonanza Restaurant. He was working at National Linen Company and our story started in September 1981. They had two children, Brandy and Jason. Mark worked at National Linen Company, Coca-Cola, MICC, and Modern Supply. He started his own Handyman Construction Company from 1996 to 2005. He drove semi-trucks for MidAmerica Door, Drisco, Glass Trucking, Bowers, and Evan Associates. He retired due to health concerns in 2023.We raised our kids camping, fishing, and riding four-wheelers and dune buggies. Mark loved the Lord and was very active at Ranch Drive Baptist Church. He loved his church family. He is survived by his wife Jarita of forty-three years, his son Jason and wife Jamie and daughter Hailey, and granddaughter/daughter Gabby and her husband Stockton Lee, and Brennon Stickel. He is also survived by brothers Danny Jester, California, and Richard Kehr. He has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, aunts and uncles. His Aunt Arlene Morford was like a mother to him. He had a special relationship with his cousins Lisa Eckels, Dana Monford, and Nancy Moore. He left his best friend ‘Beau’ who will miss their daily walks. He enjoyed going to concerts with our good friends R. J. and Helene Warren. Mark was preceded in death by his daughter Brandy Presley, his father Connie, and brother, Patrick. Everyone knew Mark as “a good man.” He will be deeply missed. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Veterans Affairs, St. Jude’s, and the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society. Services will be held at Ranch Drive Baptist Church, Ponca City on March 31, 11:00. Officiants will be Dr. Bob Ryan and Pastor Jerry Hook.
