Norma Louise (Dickson) Shafer

Celebration of life services for Norma Louise Shafer, 63, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Crosspoint Church  with Pastor Asher Griffin  officiating.  Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Norma Louise Shafer went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while peacefully surrounded by family in her home in Enid, OK on February 10, 2026.

 She was born on July 25, 1962, to Jesse LeRoy Dickson and Gloria Gila Baker Dickson in Decatur, IL. After moving around to different small Midwestern towns growing up, she made Enid her permanent residence in 1984.

Norma married Ricky Shafer, of Enid, on February 14, 1986. She loved Jesus as the center of her life. She loved to go on coffee runs, spending quality time with friends and family, reading her Bible, and cooking. Norma never met a stranger. Her desire was that everyone she met would get to know Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She was truly a Proverbs 31 Woman.

 She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years; her daughter Candace (Randy) Beesley and her son Curtis (Thamra) Shafer; and 3 grandchildren CaElla Shafer, Caleb Beesley, and Kamrin Beesley; a twin sister Bryan, and numerous other family members.
