Funeral services for Patsy Jean Martin, 76, Ponca City resident, will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023 in Albright United Methodist Church with Pastor Leon Veasey officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Patsy was born on October 9, 1946 in Ponca City, the daughter of George Alva Brown and Opal Musgrave Brown, and passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 at her residence. She was raised and educated in Ponca City, graduating from Ponca City High School with the class of 1964. Patsy served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977. She was stationed in Germany where she met her future husband, Robert Louis Martin. They lived in Belville, Illinois, later moving to Ponca City. Patsy worked for the Oklahoma State Employment Commission as a Placement Clerk. She was affiliated with Allbright Church. Loved volunteer work and geneology. Patsy loved to visit Branson, Missouri multiple times of the year. Survivors include her husband, Robert of the residence; son, Chris Martin of Wichita, Kansas; mother, Opal Brown of Ponca City; sisters, Katie Goss of Ponca City, Judy Ritthaler of Perry, Oklahoma, Linda Stevens of Perry, Oklahoma.
