Russell “Bud” Peterson of Edmond, Oklahoma will be laid to rest June 13, 2025 at Enid  Memorial Park Cemetery.  Russell “Bud” service will be a grave side at Memorial Park Cemetery, June  13, 2025  at 11 am. Born June 28,1942 in Lamar, Missouri. Son of Carl “Pete” and Juanita Peterson. Pasted away May 31, 2025.

Russell Moved to Enid, Oklahoma as a small child. Graduated from Enid High 1961. Married His Wife Sharon Champion September 15, 1961. And had 3 Sons, Doug, Mark and Jeff.

Worked at Vance Air Force Base from 1960 to 1972. Became a Farmer’s Insurance Agent 1972 and retired March 2012. 

Moved to Edmond, Oklahoma April 1, 2003. 

Russell is survived by his wife of 63 years. Sons Douglas and his wife Stacie, Mark, Jeffrey and his wife Misti. Four Grandkids , Kourtney and Martin Wiley, Morgan and Nick Jackson, Trey Peterson, Josh Peterson, Matt McMillin. 4 Gr-Grandkids, Lily and Brody Jackson , Miles and Mila Wiley. 

Sisters Georgia Shelton, Carol and Jim Robinson, Vikki and Ray Schaerer, Patricia Lamas. And many cousins and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in Death By his parents Carl “Pete” and Juanita Peterson.
