Staci Thresher Obituary

Staci Francine Thresher age 50 passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born April 25,1974 in Alva, Ok. to Diana Pilalas-Thresher-Horne and Frank Thresher. She was a graduate of Cherokee High School in 1992. She is survived by son Anthony Thresher, daughter Lakyn Thresher, grandson Edward “Chandler” Miller, sister Shana Roadenbaugh- Thresher, brother Brett Thresher and wife Cindy Thresher, Damon Horne, Dustin Horne, ex-husband/ long time friend Ron Killman, and many nieces and nephew. She is proceeded in passing of mother Diana Horne, father Frank Thresher, and “dad” Raymond Horne. Staci enjoyed time with family above all. She loved carrying on generational cooking recipes that her mother cooked for family. Staci found joy in holidays especially Christmas. She always wanted to decorate and do crafts with her grandson to celebrate holidays.  Pastimes of Staci’s included; listening to upbeat catchy music, watching birds, and seeing butterflies. She loved to plan flowers in her favorite season spring, and listen to the wind chimes in the wind. Staci faced many health and mental struggles in her life but always overcome those challenges. She was a strong, loving, heart of gold woman. Her grandson quotes “ the best grandma EVER!” She loved him so much. She loved her children and was so proud of them.  Services for remembrance of life will be held at First Christian Church. 202 S. Kansas Ave. Cherokee, Ok.November 18, 2024  at 10:30 a.m. by Pastor Joe Woods. Immediate family lunch following service  Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices,com.
